Feb 13, 2023 · The first game was laughingly short and could be beaten in less than 5 hours on the hardest difficulty if you knew what you were doing. But where Rage 1 was strong at was portraying a post apocalyptic world with the illusion of going through a decayed city in one of the missions. However in Rage 2, the creative atompshere is just lacking.

Aug 26, 2021 · Played Rage 2 in 2021 on Xbox series S. The combat in Rage is amazing, and graphics look good, at times borderline great. However, for me, the downsides are a dead feeling world. Weird rant for a post-apocalyptic game, but it’s more about the game feeling hollow. Characters aren’t memorable or likeable.

May 13, 2019 · A fun, engaging world. GameSpace - 7.5 / 10. Rage 2 is a great game for the right reasons. If you're looking for a game with a phenomenal story, you're in the wrong place. The story is boring to me, and rather short at 13 hours of leisurely gameplay. At the very least it doesn't drop off the planet like Rage did.

Sep 24, 2020 · Adding Microsoft as another overseer of the IP means that they might be less likely to award a contract for an outside studio like Avalanche to work on it. That said, I would love to see RAGE 3 done "in house" by another Microsoft-owned studio. A couple come to mind that could do the right mix of gunplay and open-world quests/story missions.

Aug 26, 2022 · Rage 2 has better gunplay but suffers other issues; it has (most of) the pieces but felt the need to artifcially spread them all over the wasteland as a superficial and artificial means of adding to the game's length. When you collect them all there's quite a few tools to go wild with, and most feel pretty good to use.
